TIU was established to:
Improve access to and quality of BAME Mentors
Promote Racial diversity in the workplace
Raise awareness of health and social issues affecting BAME youth.
Our work is primarily but not exclusively aimed at young people (16+) of black and minority ethnic descent living in the UK.
We AIM to EMPOWER and INSPIRE our young people to become LEADERS within their COMMUNITIES. To this end, we will TRAIN and EQUIP them with the right skills to enable them to become ‘LIFE READY’ not just work ready.
